Phyllis Cherry writes stories suitable for people of all ages.
She was addicted to fairy tales as a child and often retold her version of these classic stories to her kindergarten and first grade class mates. She loved play acting almost as much as reading her favorite Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries.
Phyllis enjoyed her career in the food industry working as a caterer, restaurant manager and later as a general manager for private city and country clubs. She studied culinary arts in classes both in the United States and abroad. She has written articles about food and wine for various trade magazines and local newspapers. Her love of food often finds a place in the books she writes.
